I am very pleased to announce I qualified into the last 64 of the World 8 Ball in China along with my good friend Mick Hill. The opening cermony for the main event is quite incredible and the fans from China are simply awesome.

This is the podium where we were available for photographs for the public. The streets were lined with thousands of people cheering. It makes the hair on your neck stand on end.

I am really looking forward to playing my first match which is shown to millions on kktv5.com. My first match in the main event is against Cheng Hu Hsuan of Tai Pei if I am successful in that I play the winner of Mark Williams and John Morra.

Mick Hill has drawn the local hero Ding Jun Hui both of our games will be live on tv. Darren Appleton has drawn Lee Corteza.
